Shaun Stoltz is an accomplished business professional with over three decades of experience in project management, financial accounting, and information technology. Throughout his career, Shaun has demonstrated a keen ability to manage complex projects and deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth and increase organizational efficiency.
Shaun’s career began in the auditing division of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Zimbabwe, where he honed his skills in financial accounting and business systems auditing. He then went on to hold various roles in Zimbabwe and London, including Financial Controller and Company Secretary at Communication Systems of Zimbabwe, and Principal Consultant and Cognos Developer at Data C Limited. During his time at Data C, Shaun managed the implementation of large-scale data warehouse platforms, which provided a single source of truth and enabled deep lineage transparency for budgeting to actual reporting and management.
Shaun’s leadership and project management skills were further developed during his time at Globalquest Solutions and Delaware North, where he oversaw a portfolio of IT projects ranging in size from $50k to $500k. He successfully designed and developed project initiation processes that reduced the time to get a project to successful kick-off from six to two months. At Delaware North, he directed the remediation project of 800 Windows 2003 servers, which had been losing momentum for several months, and brought the project back on track in just three weeks.
Throughout his career, Shaun has established himself as a strong communicator and relationship builder, with the ability to foster client relationships and understand their businesses and challenges. He has presented proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences, and oversaw four coding teams of 10-15 team members each. Shaun’s experience and expertise have earned him several certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Shaun holds a Master of Business Administration from Durham University Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ashford University, and a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa.
